Who am I?
I was born in September 1962, and came into the world with a backpack full of creativity, but I just didn't know it then.
My work stems from a longing for a whole to convey. I write, photograph, paint and listen to intuition, yes, to all 9 in one, while I try to find new paths between the sensual and the intimate that is contained in the great universe. The website is an expression of the life experience that I have also collected in my book: small intuitive texts, visual expressions and reflections that invite contact – with the body, nature, silence and myself.
Here there is not one path, but many small invitations for you to wonder about. Perhaps you will find something familiar, while the unknown may possibly pique your curiosity.

How it all began
I still remember that day in September 1996. I was six months pregnant with my first child, and took a leap into the unknown when I began what would become an 18-year adventure as the sole owner of Berit Jeanette’s Design. There was no grand plan – just a love of creating.
Then everything stopped.
When you burn the candle at both ends, sooner or later it comes to a screeching halt. That moment came in 2012, when my dad died of cancer, and I struggled with pain all over my body after many years of extreme work pace – all while raising two children alone. After nine years of trade shows, running stores, manufacturing and everything else that comes with being self-employed, I was completely exhausted. In 2019, I unfortunately became 100% disabled.
But a new path opened up.
After taking a few detours, I finally found a way to gather everything I do into something unique and very important – to me, and my wish is that you can also get something important out of what I share with you. The Art rituals & The 9 i-words.
